Hello
A beautiful poem to teach and raise another generation of women on.
Emotional Nutrition
“ i will tell you, my daughter of your worth not your beauty every day. (your beauty is a given. every being is born beautiful).
knowing your worth can save your life. raising you on beauty alone you will be starved. you will be raw. you will be weak. an easy stomach. always in need of some one telling you how beautiful you are” Nayirah Waheed
My name is Kristin Swan. I started my career in public relations/ business development but decided to change careers to become a MakeUp artist to uplift women.
This is who I am, I believe in encouraging women to stand tall and be proud of who they are/ what they look like. As a MakeUp artist, I am in a unique position to speak to the hearts of all South African women, and say, " You are beautiful no matter what anyone else says".
My gran always told me, “if I am not willing to love myself how can I expect anyone else to?“
South African women have so much going for them and over the past 4 years in the beauty industry I have been overjoyed to see women step out and be confident in their own bodies.
I am passionate about women believing in themselves with humility, kindness and confidence.
The other day my friend Poppy called me and said, ”I am so sorry, I am late again, please forgive me, I am just trying my best but really don’t like this side of me, I am 5 minutes away" . I looked at the time at I was 5 minutes early.
My response was, "I am sorry to be the one to say this, but could you be a little kinder towards my friend, Poppy. She is doing her absolute best and I think she is wonderful.”
I believe that kindness towards ourselves is how we become accepting of ourselves.
If you are looking to partner with someone like me, I cannot wait to hear from you!
Yours truly,
K.S
